Geebung Baptist is a member church of the Baptist union of Queensland family of churches. It is theologically conservative while becoming more contemporary in worship style. The people are warm and friendly, welcoming newcomers who worship with them. The church was planted in November 1923, making it one of the oldest continuously functioning Baptist Churches in Queensland. Originally the church met in the Memorial Hall in Geebung until the 14th of March 1925, when the first church building was opened by the President of the Baptist Association Rev.T.U. Symonds. The present Church was opened on the 11th October 1969.
